Stereotype

Since the lack of updates to this page/site is becoming a far too regular thing, I decided I better write something... first up, here's a chart (or rather a random list) of stuff I've been playing lately... I WILL DO A MIX sometime soon, honest:

Luca Bacchetti, Paul Ritch - Crazy Madness - Luca Bacchetti Remix - SCI+TEC Digital Audio
Dubshape - Droplets - Late Night Mix - Kompakt
Sascha Funke, DJ Koze - Mango Cookie - DJ Koze's Pink Moon Remix - Bpitch Control
Paul Ritch, Maurizio & Danyelino - Adenine - Paul Ritch Remix - SCI+TEC Digital Audio
FUNKE Sascha - The Acrobat - Efdemin remix - BPitch Control Germany
CALCULUS - Loosey Goosey - Reboot rework - Hairy Claw
KABAR, Gamal - The Filth - 3 Channels remix - Poker Flat Germany
MOELLER, Brendon - Electricity - Leena Germany
TANZMANN, Matthias - Love-Shaped Feeling - Reboot rework - Moon Harbour Germany
LARSSON - Ruanda - Reboot's Susu rework - Rotary Cocktail Germany
RESMANN, Marco - Butterfly Effect - Upon You Germany
DJ T - Outbreak - Get Physical Germany
CARRERAS, Jacopo - One Sentence - Efdemin remix - Lan Muzic Germany
Lawrence - Sweeping The Stars - Mule Electronic Japan
Echologist - Faith - Ame remix - Mule Electronic Japan

Anyway, last weekend was fun, really enjoyed both Fusion Sessions at Sneaky Pete's and Washing Machine at The GRV. Rather embarrassingly that was the first time I'd even been in the GRV and I was hugely impressed, an amazing space especially given Edinburgh's limited options right now.

Next gig is Stereotype on Sep 25th. Really excited about this one, basically it's me & Ryan Ellis doing our thing in the second room, a deep/minimal vibe which should compliment the main room sounds of Huggy and Blair Harrower next door. Not done a proper backroom since the heady days of the chillout room in Skank with Nick Tweedie and Brian Hutcheon years ago. Back rooms are probably the perfect environment for a lot of the stuff I've been playing lately - or rather have wanted to play but couldn't - so will be great to see how it works out.
